ATLANTIC FOX continued the great run for the stable scoring in fine style at Echuca today.

The son of Savabeel relished the step up to 1600m and looks a city class horse in the making. His chance at city success may come sooner than expected with the progressive youngster possibly backing up in the 2000m 3yo race  at Caulfield on Saturday.

We have accepted with him at Caulfield with Craig Williams to ride. He has had a big trip to Echuca (8 hours on the truck) so we won’t make a final decison on Caulfield until race morning” said Warren.

I wouldn’t normally consider such a quick backup but he is a tough bugger so I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility“.

The stable has really hit form late in the season with 10 winners from our last 50 runners. Our crop of 3yo’s have really lead the charge with horses like Strategic Spin (2 wins), Atlantic Fox (2 wins) and Conductress (1 win) coming into their own in the back half of the season.
