The 2018 Group 1 $500,000 Winx Stakes (1400m) at Randwick today is clear of scracthings with Winx to face off against ten rivals.

The Randwick track has been rated a Good 4 for Winx Stakes Day with the rail out 7m for the entire course with a total of eleven scratchings on the nine event race card.

The field for the Group 3 $150,000 Nexon Show County Quality (1200m) has been reduced to nine runners with the withdrawal of Dal Cielo and Sold For Song while the Group 3 $150,000 Ryde Toyota Toy Show Quality (1300m) will also start nine runners with the scratchings of Payroll and Maryore.

Other scratchings on the program are Exoteric coming out of the Bob Ingham Handicap and Rebel Miss and Invincible Gangsta are out of the Forum Handicap while the four emergencies, Opposition, Nettoyer, Insensata and Heavenly Anna, are not required for the last race on the card, the Nicholas Moraitis Handicap.

The Chris Waller trained Winx is the star of the day and remains the short priced favourite at $1.20 at Ladbrokes.com.au for the Winx Stakes after drifting out slightly to $1.24 during the course of the betting.

The James Cummings trained Kementari is the only other runner under the $10 mark and has had plenty of support to firm into $6.
