Zoustyle will chase a slot for the $14m The Everest (1200m) at Randwick on October 19 when he runs in the Group 2 $400,000 Keno Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on October 12.

While Garibaldi will have one run in Brisbane before heading to Melbourne for the Group 2 $200,000 Danehill Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on September 14.

Gollan has selected the Group 3 $160,000 Concorde Stakes (1000m) at Randwick on September 7 as Zoustyle’s Spring Carnival pipeopener before finalising his Spring program.

“There are a stack of options for him after that so we don’t want to put anything in cement just yet,” Gollan told AAP.

“There are four spots left (in The Everest) and the Schillaci could certainly be an option for us, depending on how Zoustyle returns in the Concorde.”

Zoustyle is the winner of all of his six race starts but his 2019 Brisbane Winter Carnival campaign had to be cut short after the three year old picked up a virus and had to be spelled after an all the way win in the $105,000 JRA 3yo Plate (1200m) at Doomben on May 18.

Zoustyle is currently quoted at $21 at Ladbrokes.com.au for The Everest while multiple Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane heads the betting at $5.

Rising three year old Garibaldi showed plenty of potential during his two year old season with his best performance being a third to Strasbourg in the Group 2 $400,000 Kirin Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) at Eagle Farm during the 2019 Brisbane Winter Carnival and was spelled after finishing thirteenth to Prince Fawaz in the Group 1 $600,000 Magic Millions J.J. Atkins Plate (1600m) at Eagle Farm on June 8.

“At this stage I will run Garibaldi in Brisbane on August 31 and then head to Melbourne for the Danehill Stakes. After that we can see how he lines up against the Melbourne horses,” Gollan said.
