It was the lucky last race for Royal Applause on Friday night at Moonee Valley where she scored a narrow but very tough win.
After working hard early to cross the field and sit outside the leader from a wide barrier, Royal Applause showed great fight to wear down the leader which gave a good kick on the turn.
Although there weren’t many connections on course to celebrate the victory, they are a great bunch of owners who were very excited with the victory.
Many of whom are great supporters of the stable.
Royal Applause heads back to Moonee Valley on Saturday where she will start in a $100,000 race.
