Along Came Jones followed up his good run over the May Carnival with a victory at Hamilton yesterday.
Given a lovely run in transit by Linda Meech (who we are forming a great association with), Along Came Jones looked to be travelling well but was blocked by a wall of horses coming into the straight. Linda never panicked and when she saw an opening, Along Came Jones accelerated quickly and was very pleasing in the finish under a big weight.
Along Came Jones has now raced at Hamilton 3 times for two wins and a second and has won four races in total from his 20 start career.
