Astrobite, a 3yo gelding by Domesday was able to break through for his maiden win at Warrnambool yesterday on Port Fairy Cup Day.
After his two previous starts at his home track, we were confident that the penny was starting to drop with Astrobite and he was slowly putting it altogether.
We were very pleased to see him finish the race off like he did under the hard riding of Damien Thornton.
Damien was thinks that the gelding will take a lot of confidence out of yesterday’s win and we hope he can continue on his winning ways.
