Champion Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien has plenty of faith in Le Brivido bouncing back to his best form when he lines up in the Group 1 £600,000 Queen Anne Stakes (1 mile) on Day One of the Royal Ascot Carnival in England.

Le Brivido is coming off a last start fifth to Queen Anne Stakes rival Mustashry in the Group 1 £350,000 Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in England on May 18 but O’Brien’s previous three winners of the Queen Anne Stakes had also been beaten at their previous starts.
Ad Valorem (2006), Haradasun (2008) and Declaration Of War (2013) had all finished out of a place before returning to the winner’s stall in the Queen Anne Stakes and O’Brien wouldn’t be surprised if history repeats itself with Le Brivido.
“He’s been in good form since the Lockinge. He got caught a bit in traffic in that race, but still ran very well. Ryan [Moore] was very happy with him,” O’Brien told the Racing Post.
Ryan Moore will stick with Le Brivido who has drawn barrier two in the sixteen horse Queen Anne Stakes field which will run over the straight mile course at Royal Ascot.
Betting at Ladbrokes.com.au for the Queen Anne Stakes has Le Brivido marked at $6.50 equal second favourite with the Charlie Appleby trained Barney Roy behind the $6 top pick Mustashry.
