Wilde Racing’s Big Friendly Giant, Wayne County broke his maiden status at Donald on Saturday.

Wayne County was sent to Wilde Racing for the beach environment after having some soundness problems.
Tipping the measuring stick at 18 hands, it is no surprise Wayne County has had a few minor issues throughout his short career.

In a bold front running display, Clayton Douglas looked as though he had well and truly pinched the race off the corner but Wayne Country was getting tired and Begood Toya Mother was closing fast. It was a bob of the head but Wayne stuck out his neck with the photo finish showing a narrow margin our way.

Wilde Racing would like to thank Blue-gum Farm for sending Wayne County to our stable.
Lets hope this is the first of many more wins to come.
