Alizee had also been a final acceptor in the $200,000 Jim Beam Emancipation Stakes (1500m) earlier on the program but trainer James Cummings has scratched the Sepoy filly from the Group 2 race for the fillies and mares.

Alizee has drawn barrier nine in the fourteen horse Vinery Stud Stakes field and Brenton Avdulla will take over from the suspended Glyn Schofield.

The Flight Stakes winner kicked off her Autumn Carnival campaign in great style with a first up win in the Group 2 $200,000 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on February 17 but has been unplaced at her next two starts.

Alizee was beaten as the short priced favourite when sixth to Shoals in the Group 1 $500,000 James Boag’s Premium Surround Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on March 3 and then finished thirteenth to Daysee Doom in the Group 1 $600,000 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill two weeks later.

Thousand Guineas winner Aloisia has also been unplaced at her two previous starts and will have to overcome the outside barrier if Mark Zahra is to get her back into the winner’s stall.

Hugh Bowman takes over the reins on the Chris Waller trained Unforgotten (barrier 8) from Jason Collett who was aboard the Fastnet Rock filly for her last start win in the Group 2 $200,000 Chandon S Phar Lap Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on March 17.

Kerrin McEvoy sticks with the John Sargent trained Luvaluva (barrier 13) after the pair combined for a last start win in the Group 3 $200,000 Carlton Draught Kembla Grange Classic (1600m) at Kembla Grange on March 16.

Torvill from barrier eleven with Christian Reith in the saddle again, will be stepping up to the 2000m of the Vinery Stud Stakes for the first time after finishing strongly at the end of the 1600m when runner up to Luvaluva in the Kembla Grange Classic.
