It isn’t very often that Wilde Racing head to Hamilton and don’t bring home a winner.
Tuesday was no exception with Aurum Dromos and Jimmy’s Secret breaking their maiden status.

Aurum Dromos holds a special place in the heart of his owner who reared him as a foal.
His dam died not long after foaling Aurum Dromos down and it was up to the owner, Sarah, to tend to his needs early in life.
It has taken much longer than we anticipated for him to break through for that illustrious win but it was great to see him get the job done on Tuesday.
The win was made that little bit sweater with our stable jockey Ronan Short breaking through for his first win not only in Victoria but in the Grey and Pink silks.

Jimmy’s secret brought up our second winner of the day and he won impressively.
He had been knocking on the door for a win and his last start 4th at Moonee Valley over 1600m was good form leading into Tuesday.
Dean Yendall took bad luck out of the equation and took Jimmy’s Secret straight to the lead, he rode him like he was the best horse in the race and Jimmy didn’t let him down.
He looks to have a bright future over the staying trips as he is still very green and the penny hasn’t dropped with him just yet.

Congratulations to both groups of winning connections.
