Injury prone galloper Nimbostratus rewarded his patient owners with a narrow victory at Geelong yesterday.
It had been a long time between wins for the lightly raced gelding having suffered injury set backs throughout his career.
It took vigorous riding from Noel Callow to get Nimbostratus over the line. As soon as he hit the front he thought his job was done.
From as little as 15 starts Nimbostratus has now recorded 3 wins and 3 seconds.
