The well named stallion Maximus followed up his strong debut winning in dominant fashion at Geelong today. James Winks having his first sit on the big striking fella was left more than impressed after his strong victory. While still green & raw Maximus gave an exciting display of natural ability pulling away from the field always safely looking the winner. Our team knew we had a serious horse on our hands but as most who have had the pleasure & pain of racing horses we were going in with fingers crossed that he could replicate what we saw first up and some more. Maximus left no doubt easily travelling in the run with James pulling him out coming to the turn joining the leaders without raising a sweat then powering home whilst still showing signs of the improvement when he really learns what it’s all about.
