Patience pays off for the owners of Louisville Lass as she wins in a photo finish at Ballarat today, 21/2/16. Ridden by Brandon Stockdale, winning the Sportsbet-Ballarat: C.E.Bartlett Maiden Plate over 1600m, Louis came with long run from the back of the field, winning by just 0.1 lengths. Brandon did a great job in bringing her home as she takes a while to get into her races.

Louis’s racing career got off to a slow start requiring a spell of 51 weeks after her first start. However, since she has been racing this time in she has been racing consistently, noticing up 1 second and 3 thirds and today her first win.

Thank you to all the owners for sticking with her and waiting patiently for her first win. We always thought that we had a nice filly and today she showed us that we were right!

Well done to all the connections and we  hope that you enjoyed todays win and hopefully there will be many more.
