Under the weight for age conditions for the Black Caviar Lightning, Jedsatsr will be asked to carry the featherweight of 44kg and Kennewell has engaged the services of lightweight claiming apprentice jockey Chris Caserta.

Kennewell confirmed his intentions to run Jedastar in the Black Caviar Lightning via twitter today.

“I would like to inform everyone that JEDASTAR will be heading to the Group 1 Lightning Stakes at Flemington on the 16th February. She is a lovely filly and I am keen to give her every chance with 44kg. Chris Caserta will take the ride. Love a challenge!” Kennewel tweeted.

Jedastar has had two race starts for a debut win in a two year fillies Plate over the same course and distance as the Black Caviar Lightning on January 1 and then finished a game second to the smart Catch Me in the Group 3 $160,000 Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies) (1000m) at Caulfield on January 26.
