We didn’t quite make it to Flowerdrum but it was dumplings for dinner after the win of My Shu Mai. A thoroughly deserved win for this well named daughter of Pins at Sale where she won in decent style. Under a patient ride from Jake Noonan she was presented into the race turning for home and sustained a long run to win going away.

She is a well bred filly whose residual filly is starting to build. She has been improving with every run this prep and she is testament to the work the team has been doing at home. She needs a fair bit of looking after both on and off the track and this is a victory for all the staff. The team we have at present at DP are the best we have assembled in many a year and the results are shining through. Good news they all look set to stay for many a year and that can only mean many more dumpling dinners to come.

Horses continue to show up well at the races and it feels like the next winner is just around the corner.
