The Caulfield Cup is always an outstanding betting race and that is definitely the case in 2017 – you can make a case for just about every horse in this field.

It is Ladbrokes Stakes runner-up Johannes Vermeer that is currently favourite at 2017 Caulfield Cup odds of $4.40 with Ladbrokes and there is then a gap to the likes of Australian Oaks winner Bonneval ($7.50), Darren Weir-trained Humidor ($8.50), talented stayer mare Amelie’s Star and Naturalism Stakes winner Harlem ($10).

The Caulfield Cup is the obvious highlight this afternoon, but there are plenty of other stellar races including the Caulfield Sprint, Ladbrokes Moonga Stakes, Tristarc Stakes and Coongy Cup.

We will be updating the results for Caulfield Day all afternoon long, so don’t miss out on a single second of the action with horseracing.com.au.
